What delivery costs Delivery is free across New Zealand on orders of $75 or more, measured on\nthe subtotal after any discount shown in your basket. No tax is added, so\nthe figure you see is the figure that counts. Below that threshold the delivery option offered at the checkout is Express\nDelivery at $25. There is no cheaper standard rate below the threshold: this is\nthe one method offered. Express delivery Express Delivery is also offered on any order as a paid upgrade at $25, even\nwhere free delivery is available. You choose at the checkout. How long it takes Orders are packed within 24 to 48 hours. Delivery is then 5 to 7 days. A\ntracking number is emailed as soon as the parcel ships. If we cannot ship within that time we will tell you and offer you a\ncancellation and a refund. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 you are\nentitled to delivery within a reasonable time. Outside New Zealand We do ship internationally. The checkout quotes the cost before you pay,\nand delivery is typically 7 to 10 days. Any duties or import taxes are the\ncustomer's. If something goes wrong Email theteam@carlift.co.nz with your order number. If a parcel is\nlost or arrives damaged we replace it or refund it.",

"summary": "New Zealand law gives no general change-of-mind period on an ordinary online purchase, and the five working day right in the Fair Trading Act 1986 covers uninvited direct sales rather than an order placed on this website, so the change of mind window below is this shop's own policy rather than a legal right: 15 days from purchase on an unused item in its original packaging, with proof of purchase, where the customer pays return shipping and a non-refundable 29 dollar per order handling charge applies. An order can be cancelled free of charge until it ships; after payment and before shipping a 12.5 percent processing fee applies. Separately, and whatever this policy says, we ship within the time we state and offer a cancellation with a prompt refund if we cannot, and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 entitles you to delivery within a reasonable time. Goods that arrive faulty, damaged, incomplete or not as described are put right at our cost, and nothing here limits the guarantees the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 gives you, which cannot be contracted out of.",
"content": "Refunds and returns Last updated 2026-09-06. If something is wrong with your order If a product arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or not as described, we\nput it right at our cost: a repair, a replacement or a refund, and we pay\nreturn shipping. The change-of-mind charges below do not apply to it. Nothing on this page limits or excludes the guarantees the Consumer\nGuarantees Act 1993 gives you. Separately, we state a delivery time of 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour\nhandling time. If we cannot meet it we will tell you and offer you a\ncancellation and a prompt refund, and under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993\nyou are entitled to delivery within a reasonable time in any case. Changing your mind New Zealand law gives no general change-of-mind period on an ordinary online\npurchase. The five working day cancellation right in the Fair Trading Act\n1986 applies to uninvited direct sales, such as door to door and\ntelemarketing, and not to an order you place yourself on this website. So\nthe window below is our own policy rather than a legal requirement, and it\nsits on top of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 rather\nthan in place of them. You can return a product within 15 days of purchase for an exchange or a\nrefund, provided it is unused, in its original packaging and you have proof of\npurchase. A non-refundable $29 per order packing and handling charge applies to\na change-of-mind return, and you pay return shipping. Refunds go back to the\noriginal payment method within 24 to 48 hours of the item being received and\nchecked. Cancelling an order Most orders ship within 24 hours, so contact us within 12 hours if you want to\ncancel. A 12.5 per cent service and processing fee applies to a cancellation after\npayment. An order that has not been paid for can be cancelled at no charge. How to start a return Email theteam@carlift.co.nz with your order number and what is wrong.\nWe answer seven days a week.",
